- 8/24/10: The Legal Opinion of the City Solicitor in regard to the Hiring of Scott Balice Strategies. This is a copy of the opinion that the Thompson Administration claims ends all disputes in regard to the legitimacy of the hiring of Scott Balice Strategies. The Administration has stated this “puts to rest any issues regarding the legality of the public bid selection process for the financial advisor, and allows the City to move forward on the path to long-term fiscal health without further delay or distraction.”
