HARRISBURG CITY COUNCIL ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF NEW WEBSITE
Monday, November 26, 2012 – Today, Harrisburg City Council is proud to announce the launching of their new website. City Council’s prior website was managed (on a volunteer basis) by Jim Hricak. The new and improved website designed by the Higher Information Group, is intended to provide the public with helpful information pertaining to the city ordinances, rules of City Council and the dates & times of all upcoming City Council meetings.
“The new, easy-to-understand website will help citizens better navigate through the legislative process and give them the ability to search City Codes without coming into City Hall,” said Council President Williams. On behalf of City Council, I would like to thank Jim for the volunteer services he provided City Council in the past, he did an excellent job,” she added.
City Council is pleased to provide citizens with this new outlet to address any questions or concerns the public may have with regards to the Legislative Branch of Government. The web address is www.harrisburgcitycouncil.com
The new website was previously budgeted in the beginning of 2012 by City Council. The Higher Information Group was selected to construct & design the
Website, which was done at a discounted rate. http://www.higherinfogroup.com
NOTE: A review of 2012 City of Harrisburg vendor payment records indicates that City Council has paid The Higher Information Group $975 to date.
