City of Harrisburg’s National Night Out
6:00-8:30pm : Olde Uptown Safety, Food, Friendship Block Party (Green and Muench Streets)
6:00-8:00pm: Engleton Community Group Block Party, Harris Street (N3rd to Susquehanna Sts). Plus, a block away at North Gallery (1633 N3rd), there will be face painting & gallery tours. The Green Urban Initiative’s N3rd Street Community Garden will be open, too!
8:00-9:30pm: Friends of Midtown Candlight March & Music (Broad Street Market)
6:00-9:00pm: Camp Curtin YMCA National Night Out & Back to School Block Party (6th & Woodbine Streets)–food, fun games, FREE HAIR CUTS, double dutch competition, and a Bookbag and school supply give away. Featuring DJ Godfather on the 1′s & 2′s.
7:00pm: Midtown Action Council Ice Cream Social, Riverfront Park.
5:00-8:00pm: South Allison HIll Homeowners and Residents’ Association Gathering, Hearts of the Community Garden (1500 block of Derry Street)–performance by Danzante Community Arts.
